Digital Products — No Right of Withdrawal
All products sold through this shop are digital downloads (DCTL files for DaVinci Resolve). Under EU and German law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once delivery has begun.
Legal Basis
Pursuant to §356(5) of the German Civil Code (BGB) and Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), the right of withdrawal expires for contracts on digital content not supplied on a physical medium, if:
- Performance has begun (i.e., the download is made available), and
- The consumer gave prior express consent to begin performance before the withdrawal period expired, and
- The consumer acknowledged that consent means losing the right of withdrawal.
During checkout, you will be asked to confirm these conditions before completing your purchase.
What This Means for You
All sales are final. Once your payment is processed and the download link is provided, no refund is available on the basis of withdrawal.
However, if a product is defective or does not match its description, you are entitled to a replacement or refund under warranty law — please contact us at tanklef.keiper@gmail.com.
